FibreMax, Akita Prefecture, and the City of Akita Unite to Ignite Local Production for Japan’s Energy Transition

Akita, Japan — 15 October 2025 — in a disruptive step toward reshaping Japan’s synthetic solutions production, FibreMax has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Governor of Akita Prefecture and the Mayor of Akita City to drive the next generation of localized production and high-performance manufacturing in Japan.

This agreement marks the start of a strategic industrial shift — one that will fuse regional strength, FibreMax’s advanced automation, and engineering intelligence to create a powerful local ecosystem. The parties will jointly drive initiatives in location assessment, workforce development, and infrastructure expansion, anchoring FibreMax’s innovation deep within Akita’s industrial core.
