Huisman Nederland was commissioned to develop a modern and efficient fly-jib for the Jumbo Javelin. Due to the high lifting capacity, this jib had to have, there was only one option; using the world’s strongest cable. Under the supervision of Lloyd’s Register, FibreMax made these cables from Twaron (aramid) with a breaking strength of no less than 7,000kN each!
