FibreMax
Strong in onshore cranes

Last year, FibreMax visited one of its clients, Verschoor. During the visit, our business development manager, Cranes Marc Dirkse, could watch the build-up and the hoisting process of their newest cranes – the LG1750.

This crane was developed to build new wind turbines close to Rotterdam. But why did they choose for FibreMax?

During our visit to Verschoor, we asked the leading project manager for the most important reason for choosing the strongest aramid pendant in the world. Find the top three here:

Better handling

FibreMax pendants are characterized by their lightweight. Since it is 80 percent lighter than steel, FibreMax cables are easier transportable, better to hoist, and do not cause any damage to the jib. Also, a significant advantage of FibreMax cables is that you do not need linking plates to work with.

No maintenance

The FibreMax cables are produced with high-quality, integrated end terminations and three layers of the braid. The pendants are withstanding weather and chemical influences, choosing FibreMax very durable.

The strongest fibre in the world

Our aramid pendants, also used for Verschoor, are produced with the strongest Teijin TWARON Aramid. Due to the high quality of these fibres, our cables have high strength, low creep, dimensional stability, long lifetime, and good chemical resistance. Another bonus: Teijin Aramid makes our cables more sustainable due to its low carbon footprint.
